We had rain yesterday, the nice spring rain where it smells so clean and pristine. The kind of rain where you can smell the signs of spring, you can smell the earth and then see those wonderful little buds beginning to grow. Our garden zone here is a 5a (we were more a 6a near Toronto), so flowers bloom a bit later here. However, I saw some signs.....:0))) some lily if the valley are starting (and boy do they ever spread)
I also had a chance to drive along some county roads one afternoon :) I pass this happy looking fellow

Your Friday night plans sound like heaven to me!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing animal sitings on country roads. I take the corgi kids almost every day on back roads to look for the pinto ponies, or the white faced sheep and the chickens. We turn the radio off and listen to the hens cluck as they scratch around. I'm forever washing the inside of car windows as the "kids" get somewhat excited, and noseprint them so!
Your Pekoe is almost a clone to my dear Cleo. I had her for 15 years, and loved her so!
ReplyDeleteHi Deb...It is coming, isn't it? Even down here, I wait until Mother's Day in early May to plant my annuals, though. We sometimes have a freeze in April! Have a cozy weekend...hugs...Debbie
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday Deb...YOU won my little ol' giveaway. Please email your cottage addy to me, and I'll send it in the mail!
