I had a lovely Christmas and although the driving was dicey, we had lots of snow for Christmas :) Since Boxing Day, we've temperatures up to 14 degrees C (about 55F) and a lot of the snow has melted, which has caused flooding!! Yikes. The today we had a wind storm warning. Winds up to 80 - 90 km gusts at times (50 - 55 mph) and lots of trees down.
We were without hydro for about 2 hours, but my friend is still out and it took over 6 hours just to get through to the hydro to let them know. She does heat with gas and fortunately the temperatures are just above zero, so she is warm and cozy - but no water :(
Just a little post Christmas excitement in an otherwise quiet weekend.
Cheers

Ohhh Deb...I was wishing for snow, but I don't think I want high winds and no power. Looks like you had a wonderful Christmas. Your family looks so sweet all gathered around the table! The table looks gorgeous and the food looks yummy! I hope you have a wonderful New Year!...hugs...Debbie
