Three More Sleeps

I love the coming season :), the Christmas lights, the snow (well some of it), just the feeling of Christmas. I have to admit though, once the day is over, I am relieved. My Christmas has changed a lot. It is much more simple and quieter than before.

I love the spirit of Christmas, what it represents and the chance to refect,to look back and then welcome another year. As we grow older, we realise the importance of happiness and good health and I wish these to everyone.

The snow hasn't stopped. We had another snowfall today and must have close to 40 cms of snow AND we have another snow storm warning for tomorrow. Today the gusts off the bay were 50 - 60 kms and there was a blowing snow warning. I couldn't see out of my windows at some point today and wouldn't even think of getting in the car. Many roads were closed.

I was playing around with my camera. :) You can click to enlarge the photo.

  1. Evenig, Deb...It is true, isn't it? I have definitely mellowed as I've gotten older...like a fine wine...lol... Peace becomes so much more important, doesn't it? I just wish you could send some of that snow our way! Just once, I'd love a white Christmas. BTW I enjoyed your Johnny Mathis! Merry Christmas to you, my friend!!...hugs...Debbie
