The Gales of November Brrrrrrr

Today was so windy, cold and snowy in some places around here. When I left for work this morning, I drove up the hill off the beach and I could see from my rear view that the ski hills across the bay in Collingwood were covered.

At work, there was a dusting on the ground, but as I left work at 3...it was snowy and blowy on the main highway! Booooo go away for another few weeks.

The oak leaves have finally gone and the wind is blowing off the bay .."the winds of November are howling...." AND it is dark around 5p.m.

Later afternoon a few short months ago

Here on the beach many have headed out for the season, so it is me, a few neighbours and those coyotes howling tonight. Thank heavens I am toasty warm inside tonight :)

  1. I know exactly what you mean! The snow started here on Sunday evening and it snowed off and on all night and all day Monday accompanied by the wind. It was cold outside but our woodstove kept us all toasty inside. Today it looks as if we might have some sunshine but I don't think it is going to melt the snow! lol Have a wonderful day!

  2. Well we didn't have any sunshine here, but they say we MAY get some tomorrow morning. I hope. It is suppose to be warmer, 7 degrees, so hopefully I can get home before the rain they predict.
