Teacups

I collect teacups and I have some pretty ones from my Auntie and my Grandma. Most of them are Royal Albert, including my new passion...pre WW2 Royal Albert, polka dotted teacups, several I bought on ebay. I added a couple to the collage :)

My own everyday dishes are'Sarah's Garden' from Wedgwood. After my Aunt and parents passed on, I decided that instead of saving everything for 'good' or company, I wanted nice everyday dishes. :0) I do think of them when I sit down to a nicely set table.

  1. Hi Deb...Your teacups are beautiful! I love having things that belonged to my family. It makes them even more special! It's too funny that we both teach and both have 4 cats. And your middle name...Twilight Zone music IS needed here! What do you teach? I finally retired in May of 2007 after 34 years of teaching French. Our profession is a lot of things, but it is not boring! I'm deciding that you and I are actually twins separated at birth...except that I must have been born prematurely...lol...Have a good evening...Debbie

Your teacups are soooo lovely. I see what you mean about the dotted ones, they would be my favourites too. The pink ones are sooo pretty. How special they are. Be sure to use them but carefully, your tea will taste soooo yummy if you do.
    Have a great evening

  3. I love teacups too but as I am downsizing I have divided them between my two daughters and daughter-in-law who love them too!

I liked your sepia prints - they turned out great!

Sorry for the delayed visit ... that storm knocked our hydro out and then I had to go down to TO ... finally I have time for visiting again!

    Stay warm!
