As I've mentioned, I have moved to 'Cottage Country' almost two years ago. This is a new phase in my life and I've made many adjustments. One is the drive to work :) After many years of battling rush hour traffic in and around the Toronto area, I don't miss it at all.
One morning around 8 a.m., I turned onto Hwy 400 north from Vasey Road - it dawned on me, this is my life now. :) There was little traffic and no tie ups.:) The sun was shining, the leaves just beginning to turn and I passed open water, rock cuts, a lift lock and many year round cottages. At work, I could see Georgian bay right outside my window.
At lunch I atrolled across the road to the towndock and entrance to Georgian Bay Island National Park.
