I Won I WON!!

I have always been one to collect UP codes from tea boxes so I can take advantage of any offers. I just mailed away to receive my two Red Rose teacups with Tea Lovers written around the rim. However, Tetley tea is the best. I have teapots, mugs, a serving tray, a small tea caddy and other little goodies.

So I check their site every now and then so see their promotions. Tetley is promoting their Roiboss tea and had an offer. If you entered you could win a selection of samples to give out to the parents of little ghosts and goblins who come trick or treating on Hallowe'en. Sounded good to me, so I entered and received an email notificaton telling me to check my mail soon.

Yesterday I found on my doorstep, all wrapped in a huge plastic bag as it was raining, a big box delivered by Fed Ex. Mmmm.....I love getting stuff in the mail.
I opened it and there was 50 sample boxes of their new red tea as well as a regular size container of cinnamon orange herbal tea.

Whoohoo!! It made my day.I have been giving samples out to neighbours - as I would be lucky to get 7 or 8 little ghosties at my door.

  1. This is getting a little weird! I also entered this and received the tea (in Toronto) as well! There are going to be some happy tea drinkers on Halloween! I was surprised to see the generous amount that they included as I was expecting 50 individual tea bags, not little boxes! 8-)

Good luck with the contest you posted about below - it would go well with a cup of red tea methinks!

  2. I am quite surprise people in canada loved tea (and it's tetley's!) as much as a british does :-)
(p.s: I like your blog design, they are so country and cute!)

Must be the cottage life and access to the internet ;) AND the love of a good cup of tea.

Thank you very much D.H. There are lots of tea drinkers here. My Grandparents came from the UK (well almost 100 years ago! Yikes) I make it like my Grandma - warm the pot, bring the pot to the kettle, steep 5 minutes and use a tea cozy (unless I am being lazy)

I like Tetley's, Red Rose and St.Michael's Extra Strong. Unfortunately I can't find it here anymore. I do drink Typhoo on occasion.
