Have I mentioned how much I enjoy summer? ;) Finally, although the weather is about two weeks behind - summer has arrived! It's great to be able to go out and enjoy the warmth and sunshine!
Last week we headed out for the afternoon to do some sight seeing, window shopping and to have dinner. I had my birthday 'coupon' for dinner at the casino. We had a choice of where to eat, buffets are not usually a favourite, but this one had a good selection as well as a great bread pudding - with a warm custard sauce. MMmmmmm. Chelsea buns, butter tarts, macaroons, bread pudding, trifle...and I wonder why I cringe when I step on the scale.
We stopped in downtown Orilliato go to the wonderful Mariposa Market to buy some treaties. I came out with a chelsea bun and my friends bought macaroons and a lemon loaf! *drool*
