I'm Not Shovelling - No Way, No How! :-| It Can Darn Well Melt

I woke up this morning to the radio saying the buses were cancelled and several schools closed. This is the latest snow day every! I rolled over, pulled the blankets over my head and went back to sleep. This was the view outside my window!

Just last week I was looking for my rake so I could start raking up some leaves - today I can't see them. It's still snowing. They predict 20 - 25 cms (approx 8 - 10 inches) and it is the wet, heavy snow. Okay it is really pretty in some spots.

So I am not shovelling, I am going to let it melt. The heck with it ;)

It was a good day to make mac and cheese though.

  1. I can't believe how much snow you have. They are predicting flurries here tonight but I don't think it will stick. The mac and cheese sounds really good! Maybe tomorrow the sun will be out again!:-)

  2. EGAD! Can't believe you got dumped with that much snow!
Hey...did the mail deliver your package alright?
I hope it didn't get snagged by customs.

  3. Wow...I'm just not cut out for this kind of living! I'm cold when it's 70 outside. :-) I hope spring arrives soon for you! BTW, I love all your kitty pics down the side...Debbie over at Confessions of a Plate Addict has all her "staff" down the side of her blog, too.
:-) Adorable! I just want to give all of them a kiss on their sweet faces. Ok...I'll quit slobbering over the kitties. :-) I have one right here in my lap as I type.

  4. Thanks Ladies. Yes, even for us this much snow was a shock in early April. We had nice cool but springlike weather for about 2 weeks, then this storm - and 4 days later - it's almost gone. :) Spring is here, the birds are coming back and the days are so much longer.

I liked Debbie's side bar of her staff..and of course being a cat lady myself, had to do something similar. I mean, it's their blog also ;) Pekoe knocks my elbow when I type and Sweetie-pie sits in my lap.

Kitty hugs and smoochies to everyone from my Kitties
