It was a quiet, uneventful winter but I have never looked as forward to spring as much as I have this year.
March break came, and so did spring. It is like May here not March. The snow has almost all melted although we could very well get some more snow. It won't last long at all. The bay never really freezes over but this year the ice broke up and is almost all gone.
The view across Southern Georgian Bay to the ski hills in Blue Mountain/Collingwood ON. It is approximately 30 kms (18 miles) across the Bay but I used the the zoom.
I love the reflection of the ski hills on the water.
Nice to see you back Deb. I am not blogging like I used to either. I seem to be always short on time these days but I can not for the life of me tell you why! BTW, your photo wouldn't load for me. :( Our lake is open already and this is really early for that to be happening although I am sure not complaining - I am really ready for spring!
